Madelyn Counting & Trying to Walk...

It won't be long now and our almost 16 month old baby girl will be walking!! She's taking up to 8 steps, but I couldn't seem to catch that, but I got some of it!! ENJOY!

WOO HOO WEIGHT LOSS!!!

After no progress last week, I'm very happy to blog that this week I'm down 1.6 pounds making my total weight loss so far 6.4 pounds!!!

Our Valentines 2011

It's been a tradition in our home (since having kids) to make Valentines Day a night in!! I always cook a special meal and make a heart shaped crispy treat. Well this year my entire day was full of party fun up at the school. So without a second to myself there was no time to prepare a meal this year. We decided on Cheddars to go and before heading off to the school parties I tried to make the dining table look festive for Valentines!! The kids and Jason each got a gift and card and I decorated the table with Hershey Kisses, Brachs Heart Candies and I did find time to make the crispy cornflake heart as well as some white chocolate dipped strawberries!!! The smiles on my kids faces (and Jason's) would have been enough for me on Valentines Day!

My sweet husband surprised me Saturday (before Valentines) with a dozen roses. He and Mason had gone to get haircuts and when they came home I was busy cooking lunch and I hear Mason say "we got you something, Mom". I turned to see the beautiful roses. Of course I raved and raved about them and Mason says "I picked them out". He's just adorable!
I love my husband and all 3 of my kids so much!!

I Am So Good At Maintaining!!

Well another week of going to bed hungry, waking up feeling empty and wishing I could snap my fingers and be 30 pounds skinnier!!! I didn't lose an ounce!! I'm not gonna let it get me down, today is a new day! Right??!! Wish I could be as good at losing as I am at maintaining!!

I Finally Got Past The Plataeu!!!

Thank you all for your encouraging comments this past week!! I finally made some progress losing exactly 2 pounds to the ounce this week!! Total of 4.8 lost! I love knowing that I have readers and I'm feeling accountable to stay on the right path each week!

Madelyn Realizing Snow For The First Time...

We have had quite a few snow days in the past 2 years and in Madelyn's short 15 months of life. This morning was the first time she really knew that something was different. We stepped into the garage this morning as Jason was getting the snow off his car to let Madelyn touch the snow and she just laughed and then frowned a bit when she realized how cold the snow was on her hand!
