Were It Not For Grace..

What a wonderful weekend we had! It started on Friday evening w/ Mallory's 5th Dance Recital. This time she was in in Cheer and she loves it so much and does so well.

But... the biggest thing of the weekend that I wanted to write about was on Sunday. My 2 oldest children made the greatest decision they will ever make in their entire life. About a month ago sitting on our bed on a Saturday evening, Mallory and Mason gave their heart and life to Jesus Christ. This Sunday it was all confirmed with them following in Believers Baptism at our church. It was one of the most special times in my life as I watched them walk into the water, Mason first. He looked up at his dad and me and smiled before being baptized! Tears filled my eyes... Then it was Mallory's turn. Sweet Mallory, so timid at times was shaking, but she walked into the waters, turned and looked up at us and as she went under the water I felt such a peace come over me. There is so much comfort in knowing that Jason and I have fulfilled one of God's greatest commandments as parents; raising them in His truth so that one day they will ask for His salvation. That day finally came and I feel so priveledged to be able to watch them grow further in Christ. I thought it was so appropriate that at church yesterday the song "Were It Not For Grace" was played...

Spring Neighborhood Garage Sale!! WHAT A MESS!!!!

It's time for the Williamsburg Village Neighborhood Garage Sale! If you know us well then you know that if we don't touch it in 6 months, out it goes... Unless of course it's something we have to have for a rainy day! We will be sitting out in our garage for 6 to 8 hours tomorrow in hopes of making a little money on our "junk"! We'll have baby stuff (clothes, bottles, etc...), LOTS and LOTS of kids clothes, Maternity Clothes, Barbie Kitchen, Dora and Spiderman Scooters, LOTS of old decor, Pottery Barn Train (boy) Nursery Crib Set, Pottery Barn Toddler Girl Quilt Set and much, much more... My sister is coming w/ even more goodies tonight, I know she said she has lots of jeans, some still w/ tags!!!

OH and for you die hard antique shoppers, we have a 1970's baby high chair complete w/ metal legs and a bright red, green, blue and yellow seat!!! Great condition!
Any suggestions on what to sell it for!!!???

What am I doing on a blogsite????

Well... I finally did it!!! I decided to create a blog! Bare w/ me, I have no idea what I'm doing or what I will even blog about, but I enjoy reading other peoples blogs so I decided to make one of my own!! Once I get the hang of it, I hope to keep everyone posted on what is going on in our world (and keep ya'll up to date w/ my arrangement business)...
