Mallory and National Honor Society

We are extremely proud of Mallory!! Her good grades and awesome behaviour has given her a spot in the Brown Elementary Chapter of the National Honor Society!!  On October 11th (I'm just now getting pics off my phone), she was inducted during a ceremony at her school.  She was able to invite a guest to walk her in during the ceremony and she chose her Kindergarten Teacher, Charlotte Maschal (who no longer teaches at Brown, but she was delighted to accept Mal's invitation to escort her).  It was a great evening for Mallory and Jason and I as proud parents.  I even attempted to make her a homemade cookie cake!!! MMMMM!!!!

Happy 10th Birthday, Mallory!!!

November 27th Mallory turned 10 years old!!!  Hard to believe this tiny 4 pounds 6 oz baby is now one of the tallest girls in her class and 10 years old!!!  She is so beautiful and her dad and I are so proud of her.  She made National Honor Society this year and she continues to be on the A/B Honor Roll at school.  For her birthday this year we had a blast having a slumber party at the Hilton Garden Inn here in Tyler.  My sister drove in from Dallas to help me coral 11 hyper girls all night!!!  We had so much fun eating, swimming, modeling, playing games and have a twin look a-like contest that my sister and I won hands down!! hahaha!!!

First Day of School

The kids started school last week and I have finally found a moment to post a "first day of school picture".  In the rush to get out of the house the first day I forgot to take our annual picture in front of our house so I told the kids we would have to take it at the school.  Mason was mortified at the thought.  He yelled the entire way to school begging me not to take his picture as well as informing us that he did not want to be walked in.  We did it anyway!!!  He didn't even tell us goodbye.  But Mallory hugged her dad and me and her sister and even told us that she loved us.

Mallory is 9 and in 4th grade this year
Mason is 8 and in 3rd grade this year

Beavers Bend

The kids, Jason and I think that Beavers Bend is one of the most fabulous vacations to take.  For me it's great because there's a lot of relax time and you don't have to worry about what you look like :) We went last week with Jason's parents, Jason's brothers family and the kids and their cousins had a great time!!

**HAPPY 8TH Birthday, Mason**

My little man is 8 years old this coming Wednesday, the 16th.  This weekend we celebrated his big day with a Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party and then a couple of boys came over to spend the night :)
At home we had a Donkey Kong Themed Party set up.  It turned out really cute!

Mason was so excited to be able to get in the ticket blaster at Chuck E Cheese and he caught the 1000 golden ticket.  He had a great time both at Chuck E Cheese and his sleepover!!

Mallory as Taylor Allison Swift

Mallory had a school project to pick out any real person and do a report on them.  Then as a final project grade the 3rd grade did a "Wax Museum" where they had to dress like their person and hold very still as parents and students walked through the halls at Brown Elem.  She had a blast doing this...  I thought she looked so beautiful!!
